What’s the difference between Plated vs Buffet Style?

Plated style refers to a serving method where individual plates are prepared in the kitchen and served to each guest at the table. In contrast, buffet style involves guests serving themselves from a variety of dishes displayed on a central table or Chef/Staff serving in buffet manner. Plated is more formal, while buffet offers a casual, interactive dining experience.
